ABOUT ME
Micah Hirokawa was born and raise on the island of Oahu in the state of Hawaii. He is the oldest of seven children and enjoys spending time with his family.
Although Micah is a product of the public school system, he enjoys working with a wide range of students at Hanahau'oli School in Honolulu. Due to his background in American Studies and Ethnomusicology, he also devotes much of his time researching new methods within curriculum and instruction in hopes to create a paradigm shift towards learning disabilities. His goal is to show how we can unlock a students learning disabilities by understanding it's related abilities.
Micah continues to be a student of music and performs regularly at different venues around the island. He also operates a private music education company Wide River Academy of Fine Arts. WRA specializes in individual instruction as well as group classes Kindergarden to adult.
